Going to the office

We got to visit Dada's office on Halloween. One of the people she took a liking to was Eric's boss Vinod. She immediately wanted to go into his office. Vinod was nice enough to let her sit in his chair and play with his things. Thanks Vinod.

"Can I use the keyboard and mouse?"

"What I really came in here for... the Rubik's cube!"

I know that these pictures are almost a month old, I promise to take more recent pictures to post. There are a couple of videos Eric has taken that we need to download and translate.

Lauren is growing fast and she feels much heavier to everyone who carries her. I think it might have to do with the belly she has grown in the past two weeks.

The bucket hat

Recently Lauren has been putting things on her head and saying "hat". Yes, it can be anything, Dada's cell phone, a pen, a shirt, anything. One thing she likes to wear on her head is one of her sand buckets. Here are some shots of her bucket hat.

"Gotta make sure its on tight so it doesn't fall off."

"I'm busy watching Dora with my hat on."

"I am busy watching Dora, can you stop taking pictures of me and my hat?"

Of course her friend Sophie saw Lauren putting the bucket on her head so she felt like she should too! Sophie is such a character!!

Eggs, Tunnels and Cardboard Boxes

This past Sunday, Lauren met up with her cousins Kai and Moi Moi over at Auntie Andi's house. She had a lot of fun playing in the big house. Thanks Andi and Paul for inviting us over! They played with some plastic eggs, a tunnel system and just hung out with the Aunties and Uncles that were there.

Here the cousins investigate the "eggs". It was a cute little toy that was very simple but seemed to keep them entertained.

I don't know what I am explaining to them but them see to be paying attention.

Moi Moi watching as Lauren crawls out. I think Moi Moi had a fun time crawling around in there too!

Who is that peeking out of there?

Kai, as happy as can be.

Waiting in line for Paul's carrying services...

Thanks Uncle Paul for letting Lauren turn the lights in your house on and off a billion times.

Me and my shadow

So Lauren has discovered her shadow and doesn't know what to think of it. The first time she saw it she was a little scared of it and wanted me to pick her up. We went up to Tilden Park over the weekend and she found her shadow again. We tried to explain it to her but I think our explanation wasn't good enough :). She would lose it and we would tell her to look for it.

Here she is again pondering what her shadow is. She just keeps looking at it asking what it is.

"What is that thing Dada?"

"See, there it is again."

"Ok, CHEESE for the camera!"

I can make my own halloween outfit

Getting ready to go out one day, Lauren decides to make her own outfit. She will often want to put on additional clothes. She decided that Mama's shirt was a good outfit. She stuck her head in the armhole of one of my shirts and was walking around in it.

Here she is as my little ghost.

"Hey Dad, I am just kicking it in the swing."

"Hey, where are my toes under this thing."

"Hey Daddy, here are my toes under the shirt"

On our way to Auntie Joy's for some treats!

"I can barely see with this snout in my face."

Not a very happy pig.

"Ding dong, I want some candy!"

A few Halloween pics

Lauren had a busy day on Halloween. In the morning she visited Uncle Greg at his school. She also visited some family friends and got to see a bunch of kids dressed up.

Here she is in her piggy outfit with her funny smile.

"Cheese!" said the little piggy.

Visiting with Principal Ko.

We have a few more pics from Halloween that we have to download off the other camera, but I thought these would hold some people over until we get those posted.

Thanks Uncle Rob for the pictures of Lauren and the grandparents!
