CHINA!

Amma and Papa invited our whole family on a trip to China.  We went to Beijing for five days, then to Shanghai for three days.

Here I am, getting comfortable on the airplane for a 12 hour flight to Beijing, China!

I'm here with Daddy and Mommy on the famous Tiananmen Square.

Now we're in front of the Forbidden City.........

............and that's me inside the Forbidden City.

Now we are at the Summer Palace.

We made it to the Great Wall of China.........

...........and that's Uncle Dave carrying me because the steps were very steep......

.........and because the Wall was so high up, we rode a tobaggan down to the bottom.

Of course, we had to have Peking Duck at a restaurant in "Chinatown".

And guess who we saw in China?

We also visited some pretty gardens in Suzhou, an old city near Shanghai.

I'm stretching out a little in the airport before our long trip back home.

Auntie Donna also came on the trip with us.....and that's Chairman Mao's picture on the building behind us........

Lauren is looking more grown up now at 4+ years old......





......but she still enjoys playing with the same toys her Daddy use to play with.





And enjoying a popsicle never gets old.

Dance Class

Amma enrolled me in a dance class.....it's a lot of fun!

The Car Wash

Anyone need their car washed?......We're working towards our college fund.

A Day at the Marine Mammal Center

Amma and Papa took Aubrie and me to the Marine Mammal Center today located in the Marin Headlands.

After we drove over the Golden Gate Bridge, we stopped at the Vista Point to take some pictures of the bridge.


Here I am posing with a California seal pup.....(no...he wasn't real).

This sculpture is named "Henry the Fish". If you look closely, he's made up of plastic debris.
I'm trying to look like a fish.

The next two pictures are also sculptures made from plastics, bottles, and other garbage found in the oceans.

Here's a seal that is recovering from an injury.


We also met Joann, Clyde, Craig and Lianna there......I had fun playing with Craig and Lianna.

A Busy Week

On Wednesday........
.....Amma and Papa took me on a ferry boat ride to San Francisco.

While waiting, I got a chance to do a balance beam.

We left from Larkspur and went past the San Quentin prison.

And finally arrived at the Ferry Building in San Francisco.

I got to share an ice cream cone with Amma.

Amma even let me try on her eyeglasses.

On Friday.......

I posed for some pictures for Papa..........

.........and then Cousin Cubbie came over for a swim.

On Saturday.........

....I baked cookies with Amma after my first "sleep over" at Amma and Papa's.
