What to do on a hot day?

Play in a pool of water of course! We broke out the little baby pool that we got from Auntie Harr. It is a little small but that doesn't stop Lauren from wanting to play in it.

Lauren sitting in the pool after we pumped it up.

Lying in it with Ducky.

Waiting patiently as Daddy fills it with water.

Getting ready to jump in.

Here is an action shot of her jumping in.

My little girl

I cannot believe how time flies and how big she is getting.
I look at these pictures and think wow, she is getting big and she isn't the little baby anymore :(.

Playing with the camera van that the boys used to play with when they were little.

Ooh there must be something good in that water can.

Wait, I guess it was just water Grandpa.

So cool

Lauren hangs out in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard, and when she goes she makes sure to put on her shades and her visor. If she asks you how she looks make sure to say "You look cool Lauren" :)

Sitting on the steps with her "tools"

Cheese Grandpa.
She really loves her flip flops and will choose them over her other shoes.

Playing in the landscaping with her dump truck. She loves her dump truck.

Running through the grass.

Train Puzzle

There are quite a few puzzles that Lauren will play with at Grandma and Grandpa's house and this is a video of one of the puzzles she is able to do on her own. The video is quite long (~5 minutes) but it is neat to watch her think about how the puzzle pieces fit together.

Thanks Grandpa for capturing this on film.

Some random pics from Seattle

A big smile from Lauren after eating her orange popsicle. The picture doesn't depict how orange lauren's face and hands were after her popsicle.

Tada all done!

Seattle 2

This is up at the top of the Space Needle as we take a break.

We were out having lunch and Lauren wanted to people watch here she is with a great happy face.

We went to the Children's Museum which is located near the Space Needle. I have a lot of pictures of Lauren from this so there will be an additional post with more pics of this place.

Lauren and Daddy in the goofy sign.

Mommy and Lauren in the goofy sign with a little kid that would not stay out of the picture.

Lauren was afraid of the whale until I went in with her. The picture does not lie, I barely fit in there.

I don't know if it is a first child thing but Lauren likes to organize things in lines.

More sushi.

Sharing the sushi with Daddy.

She played with that sushi exhibit for over 20 minutes...
