So we all know that "weee.... weee" is the universal sound of all things fun in the world, today it was shared around a little bit.
Lauren arrived back home today after a fun day with the grandparents. She was wearing a really cute little pink dress(yes... will have to get a picture of her in it), and even came home with a blue balloon from Trader Joes.
While she we were sitting down and relaxing, she would grab the string of the balloon and run around, glancing occasionally up at the balloon and say "weee.... weeee!" giggle, and run some more.
After a little while, Bethy was sitting on the sofa eating some dinner and the balloon was left alone for a minute, so I grabbed the string and ran around and gave the "weee... weee" call as well. Boy... did that cause an outbreak of giggling... she gave that big smile and giggled and giggled whenever I let out another round of "wee...weee!"
and then I was committed... for some reason, it was no longer fun enough for her to run with the balloon and make the sounds, but now ... "Daddy turn.... daddy turn" to hold and "weee... wee" as well.
Next time you are over or near with a balloon, be sure to give it a whirl. There's nothing quite like being chased around while you have a balloon and say "wee... weee!!"

It was a purple balloon. Lauren would have told you that if she read the blog! Purple seems to be her favorite color.
